Good Quality Screen Protector at a Reasonable Price

This Sony brand screen protector is designed for a custom fit with EITHER the Sony alpha a65 OR the Sony alpha a57 (even though described as being for the a65, the item is also a perfect fit for the a57 camera). It consists of a semi-flexible plastic with a surface adhesive on one side that affixes directly to the LCD screen to help protect it from scratches.When you get the package opened, you will have the screen protector with a thin film of plastic on both sides of the sheet. You carefully peel off the "bottom" side and affix it directly to the LCD screen on your a57 or a65. (Make sure, of course, that your screen is completely clean before placing the protector!) You gently rub the protector until it is fully seated, and the adhesive then becomes transparent, meaning that you can't really see the adhesive anymore: it looks just like a transparent plastic piece. What's really nice is that the protector is outlined in black, and it has the "Sony" logo on the bottom, so if you place it correctly, the LCD looks just like it did before you placed the protector, and you don't even notice that you are using a protector at all.This is a very high quality piece. The item is manufactured in Japan. You can remove the protector as needed without any effect to the LCD screen. Not sized properly for a55 or a55V

This is a high quality product and easy to install but it will need to be cut to size to fit Sony a55 LCD. I used a scissors to remove approximately 3mm from the top before installing on my a55.
